TRACY G's DRIVEN Lens Video Clip, Guitarist Continues Work On Covers CD

Los Angeles-based DRIVEN, featuring former DIO/WORLD WAR III guitarist Tracy G, shot a video for the track "Best Of Me", from the band's Self Inflicted CD, on September 29th at Center Stage Studios in Burbank. Sitting in on drums during the filming was Ray Luzier from the DAVID LEE ROTH BAND.

In related news, Tracy's forthcoming solo CD, Deviating From The Set List, is "just about finished," according to the guitarist. "12 of the 13 songs are done and there are over 20 different artists on the CD. I'm hoping to release it this month. All the songs are covers of classic rock tunes recording with my own twist." Among the artists whose songs have been covered by Tracy for the album are JEFF BECK, AC/DC, JIMI HENDRIX, BUDDY MILES, LED ZEPPELIN and GARY MOORE.

Also on the Tracy G front, the guitarist has been "talking with a few friends about putting together a blues band to play in some clubs around the L.A. area," said G. "The band will be called THE COLD MONKS."
